VDI – Association of German Engineers, Braunschweig District
With nearly 3,000 engineers, the Braunschweig District Association (VDI Bezirksverein Braunschweig e.V.) is the largest technical-scientific association in the Braunschweig region. Its area of activity extends from Gifhorn through Wolfenbüttel and Salzgitter to the Harz Mountains, and from Peine through Wolfsburg to Helmstedt.
Founded in 1883, the district association has a rich and vibrant history. Distinguished figures from research, industry, and public administration have shaped the association with their commitment and have contributed significantly to the reputation and recognition of the engineering profession.
