In order to bring research and science from the region to the public in an accessible way and at the same time make sensible use of vacant premises in the city center, a “Science Showcase” will be set up on Waisenhausdamm. It is intended to make the exchange between science and society an experience in the heart of the city. Lord Mayor Dr. Thorsten Kornblum and TU President and Chairwoman of the ForschungRegion Prof. Dr. Angela Ittel will open the showcase on Tuesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. in the building Waisenhausdamm 8<\/g>. Interested citizens are invited to attend. <\/p>\n

The City of Braunschweig is providing Braunschweig’s research institutions with a currently unused shop as a presentation space for two years. The new “Science and Art Lab” of the Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig will kick things off, offering a platform for exchange between science, art and society. Various formats such as lectures, exhibitions, screenings, discussion evenings, workshops for pupils, “duets” by students of the TU Braunschweig and the HBK Braunschweig will be offered. Following the Science and Art Lab of the TU Braunschweig, other institutions of the ForschungRegion will present their work to visitors to the city center in the Science Showcase with a colorful program. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
