The dignity of every human being is inviolable. Regardless of origin, religion, political conviction, social status, or sexual orientation, inalienable human rights are the foundation of our society. They are the basis of every human community, of peace and justice. 75 years ago, the creators of the Basic Law \u2013 and we with them \u2013 committed to protecting and preserving these values. We remain steadfast in this commitment today. <\/p>\n
It is not only the state that protects human dignity. We all bear responsibility. Together, we advocate for discrimination, hatred, and exclusion to have no place \u2013 neither in the workplace nor in schools, universities, or society. Our companies and organizations reflect the diversity of society. All people who work with us are our colleagues, neighbors, and friends. We value them, and we need them. <\/p>\n
We are committed to ensuring that every person receives equal opportunities and rights, regardless of origin or other personal characteristics. We condemn all forms of racism and misanthropy. Incitement and violence against minorities or dissidents are unacceptable and harm our community, our democracy, and our economy. <\/p>\n
It is time to collectively take responsibility and stand up for democracy and diversity. We call for an open and tolerant society in which every person is respected and valued. The upcoming elections in Europe and in the federal states require collective action. We are not a silent minority, but a strong and visible majority. The decision rests with us \u2013 let us collectively advocate for democracy and diversity in Germany and Europe. <\/p>\n
